About Our 1 on 1 Wellbeing and Mentoring Sessions

​Healing Hand - 5 week Personal Wellbeing Program 

​

The Healing Hand one on one wellbeing support program puts the five steps to self compassion and personal healing in your hands.

The program encourages participants to explore ancient mindful techniques such as conscious breathing, internal stillness and personal gratitude. It uses your own hand as guide and memory set so you can access the knowledge anytime just by holding your hand in front of you.

Duration: The program runs for 5 x 1.5 hour sessions over 5 weeks.

Participants explore the healing steps one on one with guidance by Saz in peaceful spaces such as beaches and local walk trails. The sessions provide an opportunity to develop self care and express yourself openly in a safe, welcoming setting. We explore the steps towards "self love" with a focus on step by step positive thinking behaviours. Each weekly session builds on the steps towards self love and feeling healed. The end result creates a personal capacity for being more open to yourself and more available for the loved ones around you.

The Hand of Compassion​

5 weekly sessions exploring the amazing capacity we have to support and hold space for others when we are healed, present, and open to others.

When we have worked on our own healing hand we are able to open ourselves up to those around us. We have the energy to support and be more compassionate. We are at our best when we are feeling good about ourselves. We can help those that need our love and support. This course highlights 5 valuable steps to being compassionate and supportive.

Mentoring and Recovery Coaching Through Music

Didgeridoo and Drum inspired breathwork coaching. Positive coping technique
training, and positive mentoring. For Adults and Youth of all capacities.

​

Experienced Musician and Recovery Coach Saz uses his unique, compassionate, and welcoming personality to build genuine supportive connections with participants.

Once participants are feeling safe and confident, Saz encourages students to explore music based breathing exercises, therapeutic sound making and positive music creation with a range of instruments designed to be accessible to all musical abilities.

Saz is very happy to bring his service to your home or travel you to a special location to create music in nature. 

Consistent positive reinforcement about the creation process and potential recording of songs are key to building participant confidence.

 

This program recognises the relationship between music and emotion. The creation process aims to build positive connections between music and memory while being supported in a safe, compassionate environment.

Participants are given the opportunity to explore the sounds made by organic earthy instruments such as Didgeridoo and African Drums, learning about calming emotions through sound and rhythm.

 

This project is suitable for all music capabilities beginner and up and are Facilitated by experienced musician and Recovery Coach, Saz Lockyer.

 

The goal is to have fun, learn and build music creations that they can call their own.

 

Creative musical opportunities include,

Learning to create and sing your own songs, jamming and exploring many amazing instruments.

 

Learn to play,

 

Didgeridoo and circular breathing.

Guitar – open tuning and slide styles.

Percussion. Djembe- Shakers, Congo’s, heart drums, singing bowls etc.

Hand Pan.

Singing, clapping and breathwork chanting.

 

Advanced and ongoing Music Recovery Coaching Program.

 

The sessions invite participants to explore sound creation in a safe and supportive environment. The aim of this Program is to use sound and music creation to build on personal self-esteem and resilience. Saz works to promote transitional behaviours to help alleviate trauma, anxiety and improve wellbeing for clients with diverse challenges.

 

Qualitative outcomes are achieved by building positive connections with participants and encouraging them to create sounds that feel good to play. These creations can then be recorded for future enjoyment. The Quantitative result being a unique recording that can be listened to over and over or even shared with friends and family if desired. This process builds a sense of self achievement and helps create positive expressive habits. By repeat listening, positive memories become stored in the musical creation. Relistening to music helps to store and recall the good experiences.

 

The Creative Calm recovery coaching program is designed as part of a new age holistic approach to mental health support. The program aims to be complimentary to its clients ongoing support programs and mental health plans.
